Job Ready Release Notes (09/09/2021)

Hi everyone.

We are continuously bringing new improvements, security updates and features to Job Ready. We are pleased to present our latest development updates:

  • Updates have been made in accordance with the change from ANZSCO Codes to new JEDI Occupation Codes, to be rolled out by the Department on 11th September 2021
  • The Placement panel no longer displays ParentsNext Education Placements without outcome projection as well as placements that do not have a next support due date set upon creation in Job Ready
  • ParentsNext outcome projections have been updated to reflect changes in the ParentsNext deed from July 1, 2021.
  • Added Approved/Rejected On filter and made some improvements on displaying and reporting when the expense was approved or rejected.
  • New additional filters for expenses, including PROF expense specific filters.
  • Improved reports on PROF expense types, with some additional information about an expense and a Job Seeker in CSV exports
  • Improved approver selection on Supplier Purchase Orders and expenses that require dual-line or multi-level approval

ANZSCO Codes are being changed to National Skills Commission (JEDI) Occupation Codes

The Department will be transitioning from the four-digit ANZSCO codes to the National Skills Commission (JEDI) Occupation Codes from the 11th of September.

JEDI codes are between four and six characters in length and will allow you to choose between more targeted occupation categories when managing vacancies.

Changes to Job Ready have been made in preparation for the Department's changes.

For more information on these changes, please refer to the Department's updated Support documentation for answers to Frequently Asked Questions and a mapping of ANZSCO to JEDI codes.

ParentsNext: Non-outcome related placements improvements

We've done some noise-reduction for our ParentsNext Placement Panels and Support Trackers. ParentsNext Education Placements that do not have outcome projections will no longer appear in the Placements panel, and those placements will not receive a next support due date upon creation in Job Ready.

ParentsNext: Outcome Projection changes

We have updated the logic for ParentsNext Employment and Education Outcome projections in line with changes to the contract, effective 1st July 2021.

Improvements to the Expenses Index Page

It is now easier to see when expenses have been approved or rejection with the addition of the Approved/Rejected On column in the Expenses Index Page. An Approved/Rejected On filter has also been created, which will allow you to filter for expenses that were approved or rejected on a specified day, or within a specified date range.

Other filters have also been implemented for the Expenses Index Page. You will now be able to filter expenses, including PROF expenses, based on the following:

  • Delivery Mode
  • Session Type
  • Appointment Status

Improved Reporting on PROF Expense Types

You will now be able to report on PROF Properties with more ease, with an additional column added for this data.

Improved Approver Selection when finalising Supplier Purchase Orders and for expenses that require second or multi-level approval

We have made improvements to the second-level and multi-level approver drop-down menus, as well as when selecting approvers when finalising Supplier Purchase Orders. Instead of selecting an approver from the drop-down menu, you can now search for an Approver by typing in the field.
