Job Ready Release Notes (24/04/2024)

Hi everyone.

We are continuously bringing new improvements, security updates and features to Job Ready. We are pleased to present our latest updates.

Key Changes

New

Ability to create Admin roles

Over the last few releases, we have been making changes to how User Roles and Permissions work in Job Ready. In this release, we have added the ability to designate a user-created role as an Admin role. Users with this role can access Admin Settings. Please ensure that at least one role has this enabled.

For more information on the upcoming User Roles and Permissions changes, please refer to our article here. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Job Ready Support Team or your Customer Success Manager.

Improved

Mentions of "Employer" in Job Ready have been renamed to "Organisation"

We've made updates across the system to ensure consistency in terminology. All instances of "Employer" across the platform have been changed to "Organisation".

Ability to bulk unassign roles

We have added functionality to unassign roles in bulk. You can access this function by going to Admin Settings > Users, clicking on Manage Users, then selecting Unassign Roles To Users from the Bulk Actions menu.

Removal of Tags field from Alerts setup

We have simplified the Alerts functionality by removing the Tags field when setting up a new Alert in Admin Settings.

Fixed

  • We have fixed an issue when defining user expense delegations where values would save incorrectly. Expense delegations can now be correctly created upon user creation.
