Job Ready Release Notes (16/04/2024)

Hi everyone.

We are continuously bringing new improvements, security updates and features to Job Ready. We are pleased to present our latest updates.

Key Changes

New

User and Role Management

Following feedback from our Admin community, we've made the decision to postpone the Permissions transition to May 2024. This extension will give everyone additional time to configure Roles and Permissions. Until this date, Permissions will continue to be managed through User settings.

In the meantime, here are the latest changes arriving to User and Role Management in the lead-up to the transition.

Assigning Roles to Users

In our last release, we introduced the functionality to create new User Roles. In this release, you can now assign these roles to users by selecting the relevant checkbox while editing a User.

Bulk Assignment of User Roles

Additionally, roles can be assigned to users in bulk by clicking the Manage Users button under Users in Admin Settings. To assign a role to specific users, click the checkbox next to their name prior to using the bulk action. To assign a role to all users, leave all boxes unchecked.

We have added a button to Workforce Australia and TTW Vacancies with an ESS ID or JobID in Job Ready that links directly to the vacancy record in Workforce Online.

Improved

Placement field improvements for Wage Subsidies

We have simplified the Placement field for Wage Subsidy records by removing unnecessary text and adding hyperlinks for both the Placement and Vacancy records.

Single Sign On timeout improvements

Signing back into a Job Ready session after timing out has been simplified for organisations using Single Sign On. Now, when signing back in, the username and password fields will no longer appear. To recommence your Job Ready session, click on Single Sign On Login in the dialog window.
